In 1950, before the teens liked trousers, the cowboys are the ones who first used it. Early designers like Levi Strauss, Jacob Davis and Calvin Rogers first introduced it in the eighteenth century.

Since the business of Levi Strauss started operating, they are making their pants using cotton. Levi Strauss and together with Jacob Davis made the first blue jeans. They were not that big back then, factory workers just use it as an ordinary trouser. Did you know, the zipper for the women was located at the right side of the pants? Since 1960, the zippers for all the pants is seen at the center.

The passing of weft in the warp threads is making the texture of the denim rough on the outside. Denims first started in Nimes, France by the Andre Family. The family is using a fabric called serge and it was only available in Nimes. Then, they named it serge de Nimes but it was too long so they shortened it and it becomes denim.

Custom-made pants are now available in some other stores and some of them can be found in the internet. Select the denim type you want from the selection screen, measure your things, waist, the length of the pants, the leg bottom and your front and back rise.

One type of trouser is hard washed for a washed out look. Other pants are Vintage washed; the color appears to be lighter than the hard washed denim. The classic navy colored denims are scrapped washed for a mellow faded look.
